Comprehensive Pre-Prosthetic Procedures We Offer

1. Alveoloplasty (Bone Smoothing & Reshaping)
After tooth extraction, the underlying bone ridge may be uneven or sharp, which can affect how a denture fits. Alveoloplasty gently reshapes and smooths the jawbone to provide a stable, comfortable foundation for your new restoration.
2. Removal of Excess Bone (Tori or Exostoses)
Some patients have natural bony growths on the jaw (called tori or exostoses) that can make wearing dentures uncomfortable or unstable. We carefully remove these growths to create a smooth, even surface and improve denture retention.
3. Frenectomy (Tissue Adjustment)
The frenum is the small fold of tissue connecting the lips, cheeks, or tongue to the gums. If this tissue is positioned too close to where a denture sits, it can cause movement or discomfort. A frenectomy releases or repositions the frenum to enhance the stability of your denture or implant restoration.
4. Bone Grafting and Soft Tissue Grafts
When teeth are missing for an extended period, the jawbone can shrink or resorb, leading to an uneven ridge.
Bone grafting rebuilds lost bone to restore the natural contours of the jaw and provide a strong base for dentures or dental implants.
Soft tissue grafts can also improve gum health and support, ensuring optimal comfort and durability.
